Independent North Korea

If our dates don’t fit your schedule, we can arrange a trip for you literally any time of the year, with tailor made bespoke itineraries that allow you to see exactly what you want to see in North Korea.

On an independent tour you won’t have a western guide with you, but will have two local English speaking Korean guides to look after you the whole time. Our staff in China will meet you before your tour to make sure you’re prepared for your trip.

To get the total cost just add the tour price, transport options and visa, as per the following prices:

1. Price per Night

Budget Standard
1 person €219 €239
2-5 people €175 €195
6-9 people €130 €150
10-14 people €105 €125
15+ people €100 €120

2. Transport Options and Prices

Train fare between Beijing and Pyongyang €170 each way
Train fare between Dandong and Pyongyang €120 each way
Flight between Beijing and Pyongyang €350 one way / €600 return

3. DPRK Visa

Visa organized by Visit North Korea €50
Visa organized for pick up in relevant embassy €20 (plus visa fee of €50 paid to the embassy)

Please get in touch for sample itineraries or if you want to design your own we can advise!

All tours include transport as per itinerary, accommodation in the DPRK, three meals a day, most entrance fees and guide fees. They are exclusive of extra snacks and drinks, some entrance fees, personal expenses and tips for the local guides

Testimonials

One thing that really got to me was the fact that we were mingling with everyday North Korean citizens.
