Are you a western expat in China? Stumped as to what to do during all these public holidays? As you probably are aware, October 1st is what is known as Chinese National Day, the day in which the People’s Republic of China was officially declared. This year it’s going to be big and hectic, not least because 2019 commemorates 70 years for the state. If you feel the need to get away from it all, during this time we are running a budget priced delegation into North Korea. With the dates set from (Oct 1st-3rd) it will be a good time to reflect on the longstanding relationship between the two countries, as well as exploring its relevance today!

Our trip will begin in Dandong, the border city to North Korea, where we will meet as a group and get the train into Pyongyang. Here we’ll meet our guides at the station who will take us to the hotel. Afterwards, our tour will consist of a hotspot view around North Korea’s capital city. This will include a ride on the Pyongyang Metro, the chance go to the top of Juche Tower, a walk around the famous Kim Il-Sung Square, a tour of the glamorous “Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum” and many more!

This fantastically priced trip is guaranteed to leave a strong impression on you and offer a unique glimpse into the world’s most misunderstood country. The October weather is just about perfect. It’s time to broaden your horizons, think differently and also choose differently!

Payment involves either making a 50% deposit two months before the tour (August 1st, and then paying the reminder within one month of it (September 1st)- or if this deadline is already passed, paying 100% accordingly. For methods, please inquire at contact@visitthedprk.org
