Study in North Korea

Welcome to our study in North Korea home page. Our purpose here is to provide to you an unprecedented opportunity to study in North Korea itself through a series of authentic, articulated programs based at real DPRK institutions, taught by locals. As an educationally focused organisation specializing in cultural exchange, engagement and similar opportunities concerning North Korea, we take optimal pride in offering people the chance to study Korean within the country itself and expand their cultural horizons. As detailed below, this includes the opportunity to study Korean language at Pyongyang universities through our exclusive programs, the chance to study Korean in other regions of the DPRK, such as the North Eastern region, as well as participation other specialty study tour opportunities based around the country’s ideology, politics, history and so on.

To apply and join these programs is easy. All are welcome and registration is conducted through us as an agency (learn more here!). Our packages contain all tuition, accommodation, meals and guides for the length of the stay, forming an excellent and all rounded deal. A typical day on these courses involve intensive classes in the morning, then activities and other leisure aspects on the afternoon, a sample day would be as follows:

  • 9:00am-12:00pm: Korean Classes
  • 12:00-1:00: Lunch
  • 1:00-2:00: University Activities, practice with locals, sports, art and Taekwondo
  • 2:00-3:00: Trip on the Pyongyang metro and to the Arch of Triumph
  • 3:00-4:00: Visit to the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum
  • 4:00-5:00 Evening walk around Kim Il-Sung Square
  • 5:00-6:30: Dinner at Pyongyang hotpot restaurant
  • 6:30-8:30: Go to the funfare
  • 8:30: Return to Hotel

We are committed to helping people learn objectively and think differently about the world, seeking open minded candidates whom share similar values. As a whole, these high quality programs not only allow you to see North Korea in a different light, but they offer a powerful cultural and social experience which you would be pressed to find anywhere else! For more information on our study programs, feel free to visit our new sister site www.studyindprk.com that elaborates these initiatives in greater detail.

Testimonials

One thing that really got to me was the fact that we were mingling with everyday North Korean citizens.
